Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Geomatics Surveyor at The Downland Partnership Ltd. The Geomatics Surveyor will be responsible for performing a wide range of survey tasks including, topographic surveys, land surveying, total station operations, dimensional control, setting out and general surveying tasks. The role will involve using advanced surveying equipment, collecting and analyzing data, and producing accurate measurements and reports. Our office is biased in Devizes Wiltshire so candidate would need to able to commute to office regularly. Much of our work is working on historic/ heritage projects, so interest and sensitivity to working in such buildings essential.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Surveying and general surveying tasks
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate measurements and reports
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Surveying or Geomatics
- Experience in laser scanning and photogrammetry techniques is a plus
