Senior (Principal) Pricing Analyst for Motor Technical.
The position is Permanent and Hybrid working (Minimum of x2 days per month on site), the location is Croydon (Greater London - South).
Salary can be flexible depending on skills and experience, but I would say £65k - £75k base + Bonus + great pension + other benefits.

The role:nYou will join a Motor Technical excellent team playing a key role in planning and delivering models and analysis that underpin the prices that go to market. You will need to understand both statistical modelling methods and machine learning techniques.
Skills & experience needed:nSolid knowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods – in particular GLMsnKnowledge of relevant machine learning techniques – in particular GBMsnProven experience in working with large data sourcesnGood command of Python, SQL, SAS or similar coding languagesnExperience of Willis Towers Watson software such as Radar or EmblemnGood understanding of the various elements of a Technical Price, including business expenses, other costs and actuarial/inflation assumptionsnGood stakeholder management skills, including communication, expectation management and the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audiencenAbility to build and maintain relationships throughout both the Pricing Department and the wider businessnIdeally you will have a numerate degreenBackground in either Motor, Home General Insurance Pricing is desirable but not essential.
