Heathrow Planning leadnThe rolenFerrovial Construction is looking for an experienced Planner to support on infrastructure projects in the Heathrow airport.nHeathrow AirportnFerrovial Construction has been working at Heathrow Airport for over 12 years delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects to high quality, safety and environmental standards. We have focused on design and build projects with a mix of contractual arrangements. This has enabled us to refine our management procedures in response to Heathrow’s Employers Requirements and Ferrovial Construction own internal management systems.nSince joining Heathrow’s framework in 2008, Ferrovial Construction has delivered a variety of airside and landside projects across the whole airport. For example, we have delivered new taxiways and rehabilitated existing taxiways and the southern runway. We have also redeveloped sterile and grass areas and replaced critical assets, such as fire main, fuel main and HV ducts. We are currently working alongside Heathrow to rehabilitate assets with expired design life’s and plan for a future runway resurfacing project. We are constantly designing and planning our works around critical assets and engaging with different key stakeholders in order to deliver Heathrow value for money.nKey Responsibilities:nResponsible for preparing a portfolio of Projects for the purpose of updating monthly the Reporting Baseline (RB) with the instructions PMIs / implemented CEs.nResponsible for preparing a portfolio of Projects for monthly Progress Programme including narrative, project performance analysis , critical path , Programme integration activities according to the Contract requirements across scope, time, risk, schedule updates, opportunities for improvement.nCoordinate all external parties involved in the progress process (commercials, planners, section leads and site agents) to ensure a realistic Programme logic is in place.nAct as an Expert Planner and scheduler.nUse professionally Primavera P6 and familiar with cost loading Programme.nManage and ensure earned value managementnPromote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, sub-contractors and other external contactsnKey Skills and qualifications:nPrevious experience as a planner for large scale projects.nPrevious experience developing design, procurement, civil work, ME, fit out, testing, commissioning and handover processes.nExtensive P6 software experience: Knowledge of the cost and resource loading process (essential)nExperience in time/distance programmes.nSelf-motivatednTeam playernResponsive to tender submission deadlinesnPresentation skills (written and verbal)nExperience with Tilos and ChainLink (desirable)nExperience of working in a large organization (desirable)nPlease note that this job description does not represent a comprehensive list of activities and employees may be requested to undertake other reasonable duties.nFerrovial embraces diversity and inclusion, and we see the value in providing equal opportunities to all employees.
