PURPOSE To support the Country Logistics Manager ensuring the achievement of envisaged aims through the correct management of internal logistics, maintaining the required service standards, in accordance with the Group procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes logistics data in order to support the line manager in improving operational efficiency
Monitors logistics process in order to guarantee alignment with Group procedures and requirements
Oversees the shipping process highlighting to line manager any misalignment
Supports the line manager in managing the pallets procurement process
Supports the line manager in managing the finished goods, raw materials and pallets inventory process
Contributes on guaranteeing the correct management of site and external warehouses
Ensures the correct efficiency in warehouses in compliance with the safety provisions and the group procedures
Guarantees the correct management of relevant processes in accordance with the Group policies and procedures
Supports the line manager in drafting the budget proposal and in monitoring the targets trend.
Promotes a safety-bound corporate culture
Applies the Corporate Principles and Values 
Prepare audit plan for supply chain processes
Analysis of supply chain process audit results and action plan
Improve current Logistics processes:
Daily – weekly reports on Supply chain KPI
.  
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION:
You have a Master’s Degree in Economics/ Engineering business or related field
You have at least 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics in manufacturing environments (preferably FMCG or high volume industries)
You have a good level of English (both reading and speaking)
You have good communication and problem solving skills 
You are able to deal with external contractors and suppliers
Should be able to work independently
Able to travel to Sofidels other UK Plants
