This amazing, privately run nursery has undergone an impressive refurbishment and features a sensory room and a fantastic garden area.The staff team believe t
hat the preschool years are the most important years in a childs development and are committed to providing a high level of care for all children.
Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Room Leader:To be a confident room leader with the ability to lead and support the team and to implement good structure and routineWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environmentEncourage each child to develop a love for learning by inspiring them to be more inquisitive and discover their own interests resulting in curious, independent lifelong learnersPlan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestonesCarry out observations and maintain excellent developmental and achievement recordsBuild and maintain strong parent/carer relationships and w
ork in partnership to have a positive impact on childrens development and learning experiencesPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
Essential Skills and Experience Required for our Room Leader:A minimum level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification is essential for this rolePrevious experience of working in a childcare settingExcellent communication skills with the ability to use a variety of techniques to build trust and strong working relationships with children, colleagues and parents/carersA passion to make learning fun through engaging activitiesExcellent knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and wider legislative requirements
Schedule:
Up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an early finish on FridaysExcellent transport linksImmediate start date available for the successful candidate -
