As an Investment Executive, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and appraising applications for investments into the Development Banks Funds. Investments can be structured as equity, loans or mezzanine or a combination. Working to and exceeding targets will come naturally, as you consider the investment opportunities and risks, conducting detailed due diligence that minimises risks to the Group.
You’ll understand underlying cashflow assumptions and your ability to assess these is paramount. You’ll be a good negotiator and confident communicator, who can confirm the terms and conditions for placing investments and build good working relationships with key business introducers and intermediaries. Working in a regulated environment is key to this role, as you ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, preparing accurate necessary reports.
If you join us as an Assistant Investment Executive, you’ll contribute to the team’s target by identifying opportunities for funding and carrying out financial analysis, creating streamline sanctions reports for management. With a customer-focused approach, you will liaise with customers to the completion of due diligence and investment documentation, supporting them through each step and on occasion, having difficult conversations with clients.
You don’t have to have years of experience in investing or lending; you don’t need to know our world inside out. Whether you have financial analysis experience or are at the start of your career, you’ll be ready to embark on a rewarding career, with full support and guidance to learn new skills and gain an understanding of risk assessment and investment processes or build upon your current knowledge.
