The rolenThe role of Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial is to provide high quality legal services throughout our clients group functions. Being a business partner to the organisation and being welcomed into conversations and decision-making.nKey to the role is getting to understand the businesses and to develop close working relationships with colleagues across each layer of the organisation to ensure legal compliance and co-ordinated risk management for group Legal.nDrafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents and commercial contracts. This ranges from standard terms to bespoke agreements. Examples include global and domestic purchase agreements for both goods and services, joint development agreements, utilities and energy purchases, logistics, consultancy agreements, a wide range of technology agreements, including software licencesnSkills:nQualified lawyer with significant experience advising on corporate and commercial contractual mattersnIdeally possess in-house experience or have a good secondment and with around 3-4 years PQEnExposure to data protection, technology, telecommunications, utilities and intellectual property contractual mattersnExperience of working in an international environment and advising business outside jurisdiction of qualificationnThis position comes with a good base salary and a market leading bonus and pensionnPlease contact
