Who are you?nVery likely, you will currently be or have experience as "Financial Controller" within a similar size business. It could be that you have worked in an Accounting Practice and are keen to use this experience within Industry.nYou’ll be a confident friendly communicator who is career oriented and skilled at managing, motivating and building a strong Accounts team – you will want to be an active part of the team NOT just the Manager. Snr Accounts Payable, Snr Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Accounts Team Leader, Accounts Admin.nYou’ll come with credentials that highlight the value you have added to a business, where you have introduced robust processes, procedures to future proof the business.nYou’ll enjoy collaborating with the Operations Manager and team to ensure that each division is supported - its a small business where EVERYONE is important.nA Sage 50 expert, you’ll know how to get the best out of the system to support a growing business.nIt's a bright, modern open plan office that is full of life, incredibly busy and everyone makes the tea This role

What do you need to succeed?nYou will be required to be full time office based which is expected to be 8.30am to 5pm Monday to FridaynExperience in leading and developing the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performancenExperience with "Financial Controller"nFull or part qualified in a relevant subject / or qualified by experience. ACCA. AAT 4. CIMA.nStill currently hands on with Transactional accounting
In addition to managing the team, you will also carry out tasks including (not limited to):nRecord day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting processnVerify that all transactions are recorded in the correct day book, Suppliers Ledger, Customers Ledger, and General LedgernProvide accurate and timely Monthly Management AccountsnBring the books to Trial Balance stagenClosely and continuously monitor the Debtors and Creditors LedgersnPerform partial checks of the posting processnEnsure strict VAT compliancenComplete tax formsnLiaise with the Accountant and provide relevant information for year endn#financialcontroller
Interview process likely to be 3 stage.
