We are currently looking to recruit 3 permanent Electrical Shift Technicians to join our clients maintenance team at their Chirnside Plant.
The Role
This is a permanent role and will involve working within a five shift system operating 12 hour shifts. 4 on 4 off rotation (6 - 6) Within this role you will support the manufacturing process by providing proactive and reactive maintenance, repair or replacement, as appropriate, of all electrical and some mechanical/instrument equipment throughout the Plant.
  
You will ensure all work is carried out and completed in a safe manner and will work with colleagues to identify, implement and drive actions for continuous improvement.
The Successful Candidate
In order to be considered for this role, you will have completed a relevant time served apprenti28ceship/HNC or equivalent. You will have a demonstrable electrical background along with some mechanical and instrumentation knowledge, ideally gained from within a manufacturing environment.
  
You will also have proven experience in the following areas:
18th Edition wiring regulations,
Fault finding on AC drives,
Inverters,
415v switchgear,
PLCs,
Basic mechanical fitting,
Basic understanding of electrical schematics.
