Location: Falmer, covering East Sussex and Kent (Southern Water joint venture - CMDP)

2 months (potential for extension)

Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (Inside IR35) expenses paid

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Roaming Site Manager to provide coverage across various projects within the Southern Water joint venture (CMDP) in East Sussex and Kent. This role involves covering for annual leave, training, and other absences. The Roaming Site Manager will report directly to the Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager. The primary responsibilities include leading and directing site teams to ensure the safe management of all operational activities, meeting HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental), program, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all works consider the needs of the local population and the traveling public.

* Supervise, mentor, and manage the site team effectively.

* Promote cost-conscious management through efficient resource use.

* Prepare, review, and update realistic scheme programs.

* Prepare, review, brief, and update method statements and risk assessments.

* Provide "as constructed" records to the CDMC for timely inclusion within the Health and Safety File after scheme completion.

Candidate Requirements

* Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management qualifications.

* Safety Certifications:

* Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate)

* CSCS (Black Card) Site Manager (minimum)

* First Aid at Work

* Experience in the Water/Waste Water Treatment Industry#J-18808-Ljbffr
