Installations Operative

Position Overview:
MTS is working on behalf of our Client in Hayes. They're looking for a Street Furniture Installations Operative to join their team.
The successful candidate will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers, who will provide employees with the drive to succeed the opportunity for career progression in the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Installation of Street Furniture
To install, assemble, clean and maintain various street furniture.

To ensure the timely Installation of Street furniture
Operating Machinery
To operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner.
Driving and Vehicle Maintenance
To clean and maintain vehicles.

To ensure that all vehicle faults, driving and site incidents and accidents are reported.
Quality Control and Continuous Improvement
To ensure quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.

To follow SSoW and adhere to good working practices.

To maintain a high standard and quality of work.
Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory: 
Holder of a full driving licence for more than 12-months for insurance purposes.

Holder of Operative New Road and Street Works Act Certification.

Manual Handling
Preferred:
GCSE English and Maths.

Able to read and understand engineering / construction style drawings.

Previous experience in a similar role/ assembly.

Lorry Mounted Crane Certification.

Use of CAT scanners/ hand and power tools.

CSCS Certification.

Counterbalance Forklift certification.
Benefits:
Salary range: £130 to £151 per shift (dependent on experience).

Working Pattern: 8 to 10 hours per shift, Monday to Friday (6:00 am to 14:30 / 16:30 pm).

Overtime: Weekend working paid at £238.26. Night works +20%.
