Quality Inspector / QA Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Quality Technician to join an manufacturer based near Wolverhampton.
The Quality Inspector / QA Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Quality Technician Inspector will be responsible for inspecting parts from the machine shop and sub-contractors to engineering drawings and specifications. These include using thread gauges, spline gauges, micrometers, bore micrometers, verniers and cmm’s for detailed measurements.
The Quality Inspector / QA Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Quality Technician will preferably have experience in Inspection or Quality Engineering role and CMM experience will be an advantage.

£14.50ph - £15.50ph
Pension
Hours 08.00-16.30 Monday to Friday (40hr week)
Responsibilities Include:
Day to day inspection of parts to drawings meeting specifications.
Detailed measurements on critical parts using metrology equipment .
Conduct internal Audits on other departments to 7S standards.
Checking material certificates to specifications and ISO standards.
Surface finishes and visual checks.
Controlling non-conforming parts until passed off or quarantined through supplier NCR and non-conformance reports.
Learn / contribute toward Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Inspection of engineered parts from the machine shop and sub-contractors to engineering drawings and specifications. These include using thread gauges, spline gauges, micrometers, bore micrometers, verniers, cmm’s and other metrology equipment for detailed measurements.
Goods inwards duties, booking in orders, counting parts and un-loading parts to the goods inwards area, preparing them for final inspection.
Hours 08.00-16.30 Monday to Friday
Site based in Wolverhampton.
Requirements Include:
Experience as a Quality Control Inspector, QA Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Assurance Tester, or similar.
Experience using metrology equipment, CMM experience would be beneficial.
Exposure to a CNC / machining environment would be beneficial but training will be given.
Commutable to Wolverhampton
