The school are committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Their mission is to inspire and empower our students through tailored educational experiences that promote personal growth, well-being, and future success. They believe that physical education plays a crucial role in the development of their students, helping them to build confidence, teamwork skills, and a love for an active lifestyle.
In turn, Qualiteach are looking for passionate PE Teachers who are ready to make a real difference in the lives of their students. As part of their team, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of their pupils. Your role will be instrumental in helping the students develop not only their physical abilities but also their social skills, self-esteem, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a dynamic PE curriculum tailored to SEMH students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
* Provide individual and group support to accommodate different abilities and needs.
* Promote healthy lifestyles and the importance of physical activity.
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education into the wider school curriculum.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.
Qualifications:
* QTS or QTLS desirable (ECTs and Cover Supervisors welcome to apply)
* A relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field.
* Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs, is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
