**Job Description:**
As a Nursery Practitioner at (Company Name), you will play a key role in supporting the development and well-being of children aged (age range). You will work closely with a team of professionals to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering a range of activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Provide high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records and sharing progress with parents and colleagues.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and caregivers, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Encourage children's independence and self-confidence through play-based learning and exploration.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere and share best practices.
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and well-organized, following health and safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Support children with additional needs, working closely with external agencies and professionals as required.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- A recognized qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards working with young children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in early years education.
**Desirable:**
- Paediatric First Aid certification.
- Safeguarding and Child Protection training.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
