Role Overview:
The Installation Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our installation department, ensuring efficient project delivery and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role or over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a strong desire to progress into a management role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations of the installation department.
* Lead the project team, including installation/commissioning engineers and project administrators.
* Oversee and manage fire and security system projects from initiation to completion.
* Plan internal resources and subcontractors for project execution.
* Head up recruitment for installation and commissioning engineers to support department growth.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
* Responsible for P&L on project works.
* Ensure compliance with relevant British standards for fire and security system installations.
* Track month-end progress claims.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Extensive experience in a similar role or 10+ years as a Project Manager.
* In-depth knowledge of the Fire & Security Industry, including product developments.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Skilled in staff development and identifying training needs within the installation team.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Valid UK Driving Licence.
* Good timekeeping and organisational skills.
