Art teacher- Brilliant school in Enfield- April start

As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students in primary or secondary education. You will have the opportunity to foster creativity and artistic development while helping students explore various art techniques and mediums. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact on young minds and contribute to their overall educational experience.
In addition to providing support and guidance to students, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop creative and exciting curriculum plans. You will also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as art clubs or exhibitions, further enriching the artistic experiences of the students.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and imaginative Art lessons that cater to the needs of students at different academic levels
- Nurture and develop students' artistic skills, creativity, and appreciation of art
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through various formative and summative assessments
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their artistic techniques and concepts
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects that integrate art into other subject areas
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their creativity
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and achievements
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching art to students in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of various artistic techniques and mediums
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their artistic abilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current trends and developments in art education
