We are a dynamic and reputable company based in Bellshill, Scotland, specializing in logistics and transportation services. With a focus on efficiency and safety, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier service to our clients across various industries.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in operating Walking Floor Trailers and Ejectors. This role involves early starts at 06:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with the potential for additional hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles with Walking Floor Trailers and Ejectors.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Transport goods efficiently and securely, adhering to delivery schedules.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure and balanced weight distribution.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle operations.
* Comply with all road transport regulations and company policies.
* Communicate effectively with the logistics team and clients.
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
* Proven experience with Walking Floor Trailers and Ejectors.
* Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
* Digital Tachograph card.
* Strong knowledge of UK road networks and traffic regulations.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
