Position: Design & Technology (DT) Technician
Location: Redbridge, Secondary School
Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Salary: £90 to £110 per day

Empowering Learning are working with a successful Secondary School based in Redbridge who are seeking a full-time DT Technician to start in September. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, and will have experience using wood work and laser machinery.
About the Role:
As a DT Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our DT department, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and students have access to the tools and resources they need to excel. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons
Maintaining tools and machinery to ensure they are safe and in working order
Assisting teaching staff during practical sessions, offering technical support and guidance to students
Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Contributing to the development of exciting and engaging DT projects and activitiesAbout You:

Experience working in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting
Strong practical skills across a range of DT disciplines, including woodwork, metalwork, and electronics
