At our clinic, we offer consultations and Cannabis Based Products for Medicinal use (CBPMs) for individuals suffering from chronic pain and psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and others

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team and provide expert consultation on the use of medicinal cannabis in psychiatric treatment. ResponsibilitiesnAct as the primary consultant for all patients receiving psychiatric treatment under the care of Cantourage ClinicnDeliver high quality clinical consultations to assess the eligibility and continuing suitability of CBMPs for patients seeking treatment for psychiatric disordersnInitiate and review treatment plans for patients seeking CBPMsnSupport non-medical prescribers with continuous review for patients under shared carenAct as a point of escalation for complex psychiatry related clinical queriesnChair MDT meetings to continuously review patients prescribed CBPMs for psychiatric conditionsnCollaborate with the wider MDT for continuity of carenActive participant and member of the Quality, Safety and Innovation Committee (QSIC). Attend meetings and contribute to QSIC in line with specialism and rolenParticipate in complaint handling, investigations, and responding to feedback as requirednParticipate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiativesnParticipate in teaching and training, including clinical supervision to support the development of non-medical prescribersnSupport the Clinical Lead with clinical service delivery and scoping for business developmentnnEssential RequirementsnUphold the core values and high standards of care at Cantourage ClinicnMaintain GMC specialist registration in the field of PsychiatrynExcellent clinical skills and expertise in the use of CBPMs in psychiatric treatmentnCommitment to evidence-based practicenCompassionate and patient-centred approach to carenCommitment to continuous professional developmentnHigh level of integrity and ethical standardsnFlexible and adaptable working styles in a dynamic healthcare environmentnAdvocates for a culture of feedback and continuous improvement

Desirable RequirementsnPrevious experience in a similar consulting role within the cannabis industrynExperience with working in a digital healthcare environmentnExperience in clinical supervision or mentorship
