As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will have full responsibility for the guidance and delivery of our electrical services design projects. For the right person, this will be an opportunity to develop the role and grow with the business.
Your clients will come from a wide range of sectors including Domestic, Commercial and Public Buildings. The majority of your teams’ projects will relate to Building Services Design
Duties:
* Providing Electrical Services Design to Low Energy Buildings (Domestic, Commercial and Public Building Sectors)
* Leading Electrical Building Services Design projects through all RIBA stages 1-6
* Supporting the Building Services Design process (RIBA 1-4) and services team, supporting the construction process (RIBA 5-6) and project management teams
* Supporting Low Energy Building Design (RIBA 1-4) and technical teams
* Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.
* Providing subject matter expert knowledge on Electrical Engineering Design, acting as a mentor for Junior Electrical Engineers
* Developing and improving technical systems in the business, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers and experts
Experience Needed/ About You:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in energy consulting in the building sector
* Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Building Services Related Degree / Apprenticeship
We Are Ideally Looking for Someone With Skills In Some Of The Following Areas:
* Internal, External and Emergency Lighting Design
* Small Power and Data System Design
* Fire & Security Systems Design
* Cable Containment Design
* LV Electrical Distribution,HV Electrical Distribution
* Cable Sizing and Amtech Calculations
* Lightning Protection Systems
* Electrical Plant Room Design
* Solar Photovoltaic Systems Design
* Battery Storage Systems Design
Pay/ Salary:
* Total Compensation Package up to £67,500
* Base Salary up to £60,000
* Genuine Career Progression
* 28 days Holiday (Plus 8 Days Public Holidays)

* Monday to Friday (Flexi Start / Finish Time)
