Senior Project Manager As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and successful delivery of IT projects. You are a natural leader who applies practical judgment, stays composed under pressure, and supports, mentors, and trains team members to achieve project objectives. Strong communication skills are essential for assigning tasks to engineers and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. Our solutions are diverse and often involve multiple vendors and third parties, so the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and resolve challenges is critical. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget Oversee project design and installation as required Develop detailed project plans and drive them through to completion Keep clients and stakeholders updated on progress Escalate issues promptly to relevant stakeholders Ensure all projects meet defined standards Coordinate and manage third-party contractors when necessary Follow up with clients to confirm IT systems are fully operational post-installation Provide guidance and support to Project Engineers Lead by example and foster a positive team culture Accurately log time for all project-related work Maintain up-to-date documentation, guides, and standards Perform cabling installations and maintenance as needed Attend site meetings when required Identify and suggest process improvements Handle manual lifting and physical tasks when necessary Communicate upcoming works to clients promptly and professionally Assist team members with project-related queries Provide technical pre-sales support to the sales team when required Be flexible with working hours, including occasional unsociable hours Travel to client sites as needed Demonstrate strong time management and punctuality Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise Required: Proven experience managing IT projects Experience with complex, multi-dependency, multi-stakeholder projects Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Solid understanding of on-premises and cloud IT solutions and best practices Excellent communication skills Advantageous: Proficiency in MS Project Experience in an MSP environment Working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Networking, Wi-Fi, and Voice solutions Familiarity with suppliers such as Openreach, Gamma, and TTB Experience managing IT projects within the construction sector Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2)
