Mobile Caretaker

Job Title: Mobile Caretaker (Floater)
Location: N2 1JG, covering the Borough of Hackney
Rate of Pay: £13.15 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay)
Job Description:
We are seeking a customer-focused and flexible Mobile Caretaker (Floater) to join our team in the Borough of Hackney. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining several residential blocks, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Cleaning: Inspect and clean communal areas, including sweeping, mopping, external litter picking, leaf clearance, and cleaning bin areas.
Bin Management: Rotate bins to ensure refuse chutes are clear, and prepare bulk waste for collection.
Health and Safety: Carry out regular health and safety checks, ensuring all communal areas are hazard-free. Report bulk rubbish, graffiti, and abandoned vehicles to the appropriate teams.
Communication: Act as a point of contact for residents and other teams, promoting a positive image of the caretaking service. Report any tenancy issues identified or suspected to the Housing Officer.
Record Keeping: Accurately record your work and time using the systems in place. Photograph and report any repairs or health and safety issues to the relevant teams.Requirements:
A strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Flexibility to cover various locations within the Borough of Hackney.
An understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams.
