HGV Technician Location Chorley Salary - £19.50 per hour + Bonus & Overtime 1.5x Available Hours 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern, Alternate Weeks, 7am- 6pm HGV Technician The Company Our client is a market leader in waste container and recycling equipment refurbishment across the UK. Due to continued growth and a significant increase in workload, they are now seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join their dedicated team. Working in a well-equipped workshop with a supportive and relaxed environment, this is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician who takes pride in their work and is looking for a stable, long-term position within a respected and expanding business. HGV Technician Company Benefits Saturdays paid at 1.5x. Company Sick Pay Scheme. MOT Pass Rate Monthly Bonus Scheme. Uncapped Overtime Available Paid at 1.5x. After 12 Months Service they can put you through Class 1 HGV License. Pension Scheme. Free Lunch Deliveries. Relaxed workshop environment. HGV Technician The Role Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on HGVs and trailers. Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and MOT preparations in line with manufacturer standards. Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently to DVSA and company standards. Maintain a relaxed, clean and organised workshop environment. HGV Technician Requirements Must have experience working on HGVs of any kind. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs is preferred but our client is open to looking at NVQ Level 2 providing they have solid experience working on HGVs. Full UK Driving License.
