Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The school is looking to take on a permanent SEND Teacher on a full-time basis. The successful SEND Teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 – 19yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD
- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
