We believe that to be an industry leader, collaboration with industry peers to make the industry a better place is key.The purpose of the Senior H&S Manager is to support stakeholders to achieve the highest levels of H&S performance. Reporting to and working closely with the Business Unit Lead – HS&W Manager, acting as a mentor for members of the BU H&S team and supporting assigned project teams.You will be responsible for leading a small team of HS&W professionals and driving the highest levels of HS&W performance and culture on the Battersea Phase 3 project.Your ProfileEssentialMember of IOSH working towards Chartered StatusStrong people leadership skillsExperience of providing highly technical H&S support to complex Construction or Civil Engineering projectsCompetent understanding and ability to apply root cause analysisStrong communication and influencing skillsA proactive approach to your own learning and developmentAbility to manage direct reportsDesired: Chartered member of IOSHNEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and SafetySound understanding of behavioural psychology and human factorsInvolvement in external HS&W working groupsExperience of leading HS&W improvement with successful resultsMental Health First AiderRewardsWe're ready to invest in you and your future, and offer wide-ranging, performance-related progression opportunities.
