We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our growing business. As a Principal, you will lead the design and development of the next generation of digital products and solutions for our customers.

The majority of your time will be spent writing code; clean code, whilst contributing to our overarching culture of engineering excellence and nurturing your fellow team members.

Day to day:nDesign, architect and deliver a wide range of robust, resilient software solutions into productionnLead a team of engineers in the development of great software solutionsnWork across a range of front and backend technologies (Kotlin, Java, C#, AWS etc) in a highly supportive work environmentnDevelop and write great code on a daily basis, leading by examplenResearch, evaluate and implement new technologies that help improve how we worknProactively contribute to a team culture that values quality, robustness and knowledge-sharingnMentor more junior staff and peers

Need to have:nA minimum of 7 years postgraduate experience in the software industrynExpertise in Java, Kotlin, Typescript, or C#nExperience developing cloud-native solutions in AWS, GCP or Azure.nExperience in UI development in Angular, React or VuenExperience developing secure and robust architecturesnExperience delivering code following DevSecOps best practicesnExperience using Agile methodologiesnExperience in taking a leadership role in a development teamnExceptional understanding of coding principles, from functional to OO, clean coding to testing, etcnExcellent understanding of emerging technologies and engineering best practicesnExcellent communication skills, written and verbalnGreat interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a teamnEligibility to live and work in the UK
