Learning Support Assistant/Support Worker
Pay rate: From £11.44 - £14 (PAYE)
Contract: Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30
Location: SA66
Holiday pay is separate, NOT inclusive of your hourly pay. i.e. £12 + holiday pay

Brook Street (BS) Social Care are fortunate enough to be working with a local college specialising in supporting young people with additional needs aged between 16-25 years where you will be responsible for providing students with guidance and make a positive impact on their lives. In addition, you will aid to engage the individuals within the sessions appropriately and help guide them through a range of medical, therapeutic and nutritional support. You must be able to demonstrate resilience, emotional intelligence and be adaptable to manage emotionally challenging situation.
For this role, it is essential you're a driver with access to your own vehicle and happy to undertake some personal care.
To be successful, you will have at least 6 months recent experience in support work or a similar setting and transferable skills with the ability to problem solve and think creatively to aid in supporting young people to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years
Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
Willing to undertake personal care
To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
