The tender co-ordinator is responsible for identifying, sourcing and co-ordinating tendering opportunities to update and maintain pipeline information from a range of sources including procurement portals, direct enquiries and other information sources.
The role requires a meticulous and proactive approach to sourcing tender opportunities and collaborating professionally with clients and internal teams to support the tendering process.
About you
Reporting to the Head of Bids, this role is essential in sourcing tender opportunities and collaborating with internal teams to support the tendering process. Key responsibilities include:
Co-ordination and administration associated with updating the opportunity pipeline in a busy and deadline-driven environment.
Identify and monitor tender opportunities from various sources, including online databases, industry publications, direct invitations and client portals.
Collaboration to gather necessary information and ensure all relevant stakeholders are aware of upcoming and current tender opportunities.
Research and analyse market trends to identify potential tender opportunities.
Maintain an up-to-date database of tender opportunities and track their status.
Reading and analysing tender documents in order to understand / identify key tender requirements.
Conduct research and data collection, through reading and communication with client representatives to support pipeline information.
Use a variety of information management tools to store and access documentation on company systems.
Support the co-ordination of portal enquiries / clarifications / messages before, during and after the tender period and update revised documents on tender document management systems.
