About The Role
Alderbury is a 5-bed bungalow based in beautiful Wiltshire, supporting adults with learning disabilities, down syndrome, physical disabilities and epilepsy to live their best life The individuals we support include Nicky who loves going to the hairdressers and regularly visits the day centre - she loves a good pamper and getting her nails done We support everyone to  visit the the local pub for lunch, go on days out to the park, visiting Longleat and going into town. One of our Support team said: ‘Working at Alderbury is like my home from home. It’s so laid back and everyone treats each other as though they were family As long as all of the individuals we support are happy, then so are we”
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be instrumental in providing high-quality, enabling care, facing new challenges and rewards daily. Your leadership and expertise are key to our success. Key Responsibilities 
Develop and maintain detailed, person-centered support plans that promote health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity, while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. 
Implement robust activity plans that encourage autonomy, new experiences, and flexibility, regularly engaging with individuals to seek their views. 
Support individuals in financial planning, medication self-administration, and regular health reviews, adhering to the Mental Capacity Act principles. 
Tailor the environment to meet individual needs, ensuring Health and Safety policies, including Fire Safety, are followed. 
Recruit and manage staff through robust induction, supervision, and training processes, ensuring person-centered schedules and personal development plans. 
Deliver outstanding care and support by adhering to Salutem's Quality Assurance framework, embodying core values, and managing incidents according to policies. Apply Today
