Full time/permanent - 38 hours per week (Mon – Thurs: 8hrs/ Fri: 6 hrs – finish early)

ABOUT THE ROLEnYou will be responsible for transforming Engineering design data into a production/manufacturing BOM and will work cross functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Programmes, Supply Chain and Planning. You will be involved in creating operation routing step requirements based on its manufacture/assembly and how that communicates in the ERP system.nVarious Iterations on BOM’s will be required to be created in a timely manner to achieve customer deadlines. You will have an understanding of the engineering involved that creates the designs and how product data will flow though the business ensuring operation routings, sub assembly levelling and stock withdrawal is optimised.

IN YOUR ROLE AS OUR BOM CONFIGURATOR, YOU WILL:nTaking Production BOM and Routing Data and importing the data into the companies ERP system so that it can be used for Production Planning and Supply Chain Requirements.nThe creation of new items in the ERP system once they are available from Engineering.nThe continual update and revision of item variants as they are created from Engineering.nThe creation of RFID and ETSO labels for completed seat assemblies.nStock analysis and correction based on reviewed Item Master Data.nTime management to ensure BOMs and Item Data are available for customer demand.nRegular involvement in Planning and SIOP activities to understand the evolvement of items that may prompt an update to data and information.nAssisting the Material Review Board on information they require.nTake part in Value Stream Mapping and Lean Process Improvement exercises to understand product requirements.nAny other task as deemed necessary/appropriate by management in order to meet company objectives

ABOUT YOUnTo help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring your expertise within a BOM Configurator capacity along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:nTwo A Levels or equivalent.n3 years’ experience of a similar role in a high pressure manufacturing environmentnExperience with SolidWorks / PDMnStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office Word/Excel.nExcellent communication skills.nAble to learn and have the ability to analyse existing, design and shape new systems/processes.

Desirable:nExperience and knowledge of document requirements and quality accreditation within the aerospace industrynDetailed experience of production operation process’snExperience with Microsoft Business Central

Personal skills / attributes:nSelf-driven and able to multi-task when required.
