Site Agent

Our client, a prominent entity within the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Site Agent (Highways) to join their team on a temporary basis. This role involves playing a key part in the supervision and management of highway projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within designated timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing all aspects of highway construction and maintenance projects in Zone 3 & Zone 4 (London)
Dealing with Local Authority Engagement with a direct transport, public sector client
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Managing site activities and coordinating with various teams and subcontractors
Engaging with local authorities and maintaining effective communication channels
Developing and nurturing client relationships through professional and effective client-facing interactions
Monitoring project progress and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery
Preparing and presenting reports to stakeholders and senior management
Identifying business development opportunities and contributing to the growth of the organisation
Job Requirements:
Experience in highways engineering or a related field
Experience with Local Authority Engagement
Proven ability in business development and identifying growth opportunities
Experience in engaging with local authorities on project matters
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Proficiency in managing construction site activities and coordinating teams
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Relevant certification or degree in engineering or a closely related discipline
