Our client is a well-established home builder with a focus on thoughtful building and high-quality developments. The Engineering Department ensures roads and sewers are designed, approved, and constructed to adoption standards, while proactively supporting construction and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to Construction, Commercial, Sales, and Technical departments.
Assist in issuing and reviewing tender drawings and engaging in pre-award meetings.
Review designs for cost-effectiveness and buildability.
Coordinate and produce as-built road and sewer adoption drawings using AutoCAD.
Oversee S278, S38, S104 & S185 adoptions and inspections.
Manage plot addresses and utility/service connection quotes.
Ensure completion of driveways and footpaths before legal home completions.
Maintain drawing registers and up-to-date records.
Produce external works and plot drainage plans in AutoCAD.
Implement materials management plans for topsoil and subsoil.
Coordinate information from external consultants and suppliers.
Comply with health, safety, and company policies.Requirements:
HNC/HND (minimum), AutoCAD proficiency.
Word/Excel skills and a valid UK driving license.
Engineering knowledge from house building experience.
Commercial and health & safety awareness.
Ability to work in a team and independently.Benefits:
