Mechanical Engineer - London

Contract Type: 6 Months Contract (Outside IR35)

Rate: Competitive, Dependent on Experience (DOE)


InnoForge are working with prominent player in the aerospace industry, who due to their growth seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced payload systems for space missions.


The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of payload systems intended for space missions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems meet the rigorous demands of space environments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for space payloads.
  • Conduct structural and thermal analyses to validate system integrity.
  • Oversee the integration and testing of payload systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and standards.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in the aerospace sector.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and relevant analysis tools (Solidworks)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
