FINTEC recruit is seeking a Piping Supervisor based on site  for an established and growing engineering business based in Southampton.  This is a permanent role with salary up to circa £60,000 depending on experience plus benefits.  Working Monday to Thursday 07:30 a.m.to 17:30 p.m. and early finish on Friday at 13:30 p.m.  You will require to have a good understanding of petrochemical piping surveys/ specifications or similar.
Responsibilities:
Creating manufacturing drawings assisting fabrication

Producing piping and steelwork fabrication drawings, adhering to P&ID’s

Reviewing and checking drawings of piping systems in line with industry standards

Survey and produce design drawings of piping systems

Preparing and checking Bill of Materials and supporting in preparation of work packs

Technical input for engineering projects
Skills and experience required for the Piping Design Supervisor-
Knowledge and experience of piping design and calculations

Timeserved Pipefitter with technical knowledge

Have AutoCAD and 3D model

Good knowledge of ASME & BS EN standards

Good understanding of petrochemical piping specifications and site surveys

Hold a UK driving licence
