Network Automation Consultant | £65,000 - £80,000 | Hybrid (monthly travel) Are you passionate about automation, networking, and the future of connected infrastructure? Our client is looking for a talented Automation Consultant to join a growing UK team that helps organisations secure, connect, and automate their digital environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a consultative mindset - someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with customers, and seeing automation make a real impact. What You’ll Do As an Automation Consultant , you’ll work closely with clients from initial engagement through to delivery, helping design and implement tailored automation solutions that transform how networks are built, managed, and secured. Your day-to-day may include: Leading discovery workshops and design sessions with customers Building and deploying automation workflows and APIs Integrating “single source of truth” solutions and managing networks as code Delivering CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerised services Collaborating with a skilled, supportive team across pre-sales and delivery phases What You’ll Bring Passion for DevOps and automation technologies Experience developing with Object-Oriented Python Confidence leading customer workshops and presenting solutions Strong understanding of network and cloud security principles Experience building and integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL, NETCONF, gRPC) Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub/GitLab) Experience testing with pytest and working with Docker/Kubernetes Hands-on experience with Ansible and/or Terraform Desirable skills: Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Background in network engineering or related fields Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, firewalls, and protocols Exposure to tools such as Netbox, IP Fabric, Itential, or Apstra Please apply now for immediate consideration
