The role

Davies Technology Solutions (DTS) is a leader in innovative tech solutions, dedicated to providing cutting-edge products and services to a diverse range of highly regulated clients. Our mission is to drive growth and excellence through technological advancements and a customer-centric approach.

The Head of Sales at DTS will lead and manage the sales team, reporting directly to the Director of Revenue, who in turn reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. The successful candidate will drive the company’s sales strategy, optimise sales processes, and ensure the achievement of both individual and team sales targets.



Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy in alignment with the company’s revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, focusing on achieving both individual and team sales targets and growth.
  • Actively participate in selling activities to meet personal sales targets.
  • Work closely with the DTS Directors Of to align sales activities with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the sales team.



Key skills and experience required.

  • Seasoned sales and leadership skills with demonstrable examples of driving sales strategies and sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Excellent individual sales skills with a history of closing complex sales deals.
  • Strong ability to strategize and implement effective sales plans.
  • Happy to be operational and hands on, executing your own individual sales.
  • An analytical individual who can interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience selling to insurance and other highly regulated markets beneficial
  • A history of working in a commercial role within a software provider, advantageous.
