At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift operative to work with an important company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management, providing services such as warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.
Shift Patterns:
Fixed Days - Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only)Pay Rates
Days £12.77ph
Overtime £19.16ph paid after 39.5 hours standard.
As a Forklift operative you will need to have:
Valid or recently expired forklift certification (TLT and/or Bendi)
Proven experience as a forklift operator. (TLT and/or Bendi)
Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job as this role requires some manual handling skillsRole of a Forklift operative:
Operating Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials, products, or equipment within the facility.
Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, trailers, or containers using the forklift, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
Material Handling: Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or designated locations using the forklift.
Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting the movement of materials and reporting discrepancies.
