Production Operative will work on our high volume assembly line and have demonstrable experience ideally gained within the Aerospace and Defence sector. The role is to ensure that the assembly of products are carried out to the required Quality, Cost and Delivery requirements.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• Prepare and assemble units / PCB’s (including soldering) in accordance with detailed work instruction sheets, customer specific drawings and specifications
• Verify that routings and detailed Work Instruction Sheets are been followed for all activities
• Ensure compliance to the Company’s Health and Safety and Environmental procedures
• Become proficient in relevant procedures and processes
• Apply a professional and conscious approach in your day-to-day operations
Skills/Qualifications:
• Proven and demonstrable experience of working within high volume assembly line, ideally electronic assembly / PCB operations
• A good understanding of Health and Safety Management within an engineering / manufacturing environment
• The ability to demonstrate attention to detail and produce a high standard of work, apply a ‘right first time’ approach
• Willingness and desire to learn new skills and invest in professional development
• Excellent communications skills with proven experience of engaging and building relationships within a team
• Product Safety Training
