Plumber / Gas Engineer

Are you an experienced Plumber with practical site experience and / or relevant qualifications? Do you have gas experience / registration? You must live betrween Huntingdon and South London to be considered.
Our superb client based in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced Plumber to join them on a full time permanent basis 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. Please note this role is a permanent PAYE position and cannot be considered on a self employed basis.
As Plumber, you will be responsible for first and second fix plumbing work, along with demolition / construction work as required, site set up, clear down and clean up, purchasing and collection of required construction materials, video recording of works with audio commentary before work commencement and on completion, daily assessment of allocated work, completing quality checks, obtaining customer satisfaction sign off, keeping company vehicle clean and roadworthy, site health and safety. My client is seeking a plumber that has gas experience, so ideally someone with gas qualifications and even if your gas registration has expired, you can be added to the company gas safe register.
The role will cover work in the South of London therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
To be considered for the role of Plumber, you will have site experience and / or City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification and two years practical plumbing experience as a minimum. along with previous gas experience. You will have general building industry knowledge, ability to understand drawings, pc literacy, effective communication skills, working to targets and deadlines, excellent attention to detail.
In return our client will offer a basic salary of £35,360 plus paid travel one way (roughly an extra 10% on top of salary), works van, 28 days paid holiday including statutory holidays, pension scheme, annual performance reviews.
