Who are you?
Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Stores and Maintenance Technician to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hardworking individual to join a busy and fast-paced team.nReporting into the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for all goods handling activities, maintaining stock activity, and ensuring all goods are stored correctly.nThe role will require excellent communication skills along with enthusiasm and commitment and will suit a good team player who wishes to contribute towards the company's overall success. You will be given the support you need in terms of training.nYou will be liaising across departments addressing any relative stock queries or issues and ensuring job handling as per Company processes and procedures. This role involves manual lifting and handling. You will need previous experience of a warehouse environment together with experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
Experience in most of the following areas is required:
Experience of working in warehouse environmentsnUnderstanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, packing & loadingnUnderstanding or willing to learn asset management and calibration control.nCustomer service experiencenAbility to work individually and as part of a teamnUsed to working in a fast paced, time critical environmentnBasic DIY skills
What will you be doing here?
Stores Technician Activities:nHandling DeliveriesnBooking in StocknRaising W/O'snKitting W/O'snStock TakenRaising PO requestsnOrganising ShipmentsnWith support from the MAIT team, liaise with Projects and Procurement for non-conformances or shortagesnMaintenance Technician Activities:nMaintain test equipment, tooling and consumablesnPoint of contact for external repair, calibration and inspections of test equipment or lifting equipmentnHousekeeping of the cleanroom facilities.nBuilding basic furniture within the facilities (chairs, desk, cabinets)nAssist with the forward planning and fitout of the manufacturing areas, raising PO requests.
Responsibilities will include (once trained and familiar with the existing company processes):
Assist with the upkeep and operation of the goods-inwards and stores.nLead the asset management and calibration controlnLead basic maintenance activitiesnAssist with forward planning and future fitout activities
