This fulltime permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of technologists.

The Role

As a Computer Science Teacher you will play a pivotal role in fostering students understanding and appreciation of the digital world. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons cultivating a passion for computational thinking and problemsolving skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative and challenging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and the schools educational vision.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity exploration and collaboration.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of methods providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and incorporate them into your teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the schools broader computing and technology initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level preferably across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages software development and computational concepts.
