Sous Chef

Responsibilities:- Help to plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities- Have input into creating innovative and delicious menus- Be trained in food safety and proper cooking techniques- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations- Assist with food inventory and order supplies as needed- Collaborate with management and head chef to develop new recipes and menus- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment- Manage food costs and minimise waste
Experience:- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a high-volume pub or restaurant or culinary establishment- Good knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and food preparation techniques- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
