  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum for students with special educational needs
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, tailored to their individual needs
  • Help to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist in the development and adaptation of teaching materials and resources
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
  • Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and external professionals to enhance student learning and development
  • Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in an SEN environment
  • Enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
