FPGA Enigneer

FPGA Engineer - Edinburgh - Up to £50K + Benefits
 
I am currently recruiting for an FPGA Engineer to support a company's continued growth in developing state-of-the-art systems for the space sector.
 
As an FPGA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design system-on-chip, develop system logic for key functions, and influence overall system architecture decisions.
 
Essential experience
 
- Experience with common FPGA design tools such as VHDL, Verilog or similar
- Experience with RTL
- An understanding of electronic design principles
- Prior experience in test
- Have an understanding of how your designs would integrate with a wider electronics system
 
Desirable experience
 
- Knowledge in Matlab
- An understanding of regulatory standards associated with designing for the space sector
- Processor System or Programmable Logic design experience
