Principal Resourcing are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual to lead the Pastoral Team as the Pastoral Manager at one of our partnership Secondary Schools and Sixth-Forms based in Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire.
The school are looking for someone for an immediate start for the rest of the academic year. There is the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will lead the Pastoral Support Team and work alongside the Heads of Year and other Pastoral Year Leaders to provide effective pastoral care and guidance. You will ensure pastoral concerns are effectively resolved through close contact with home, students and staff and provide occasional cover for absent teaching staff to aid teaching and learning by supervising pupils.
You will be the first point of contact for all parental enquiries, tracking behaviour through established systems and covering lessons for teaching staff who are absent or otherwise occupied.
