The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant to join Addison in our Head Office, Thornton-Cleveleys, working across all of our business, Addison Engineering, Addison Project, Addison Precision and Addison Academy. Working with minimal supervision you will be supporting the Finance Director.
About you:
This role would suit an AAT Fully qualified / part qualified or fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant.
* Strong knowledge of Financial Management principles
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software packages
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Confident and proactive
* Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong time management and communication skills
Job Description:
* Preparation of monthly management information
* Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns of year accounts
* Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts and support with year-end audit procedures
* Processing bank reconciliations
* Purchase Ledger functions including processing supplier payments
* Credit Control activities including chasing overdue accounts where required
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
* Maintain and improve financial systems and procedures
* Any ad-hoc tasks or projects as and when required
