My client is a leading electrical services provider specialising in Commercial, residential and lesiure sectors . With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at our Cannock office. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of electrical estimating, from initial tender pricing to project completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued success and growth in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects, considering all relevant factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
* Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements and scope.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary information and pricing for tenders.
* Review and assess project risks, opportunities, and constraints to develop effective pricing strategies.
* Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless transition from estimating to project execution.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and market trends to inform estimating processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in electrical estimating, with a track record of successful project completions.
* Thorough understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation methods.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications for estimating and project management.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating, ensuring all costs are accounted for.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Benefits:
* Competitive salary range: £60,000 per annum (salary negotiable based on experience)
* Monday to Friday schedule (hours to be discussed)
