Are you a Crane Engineer or Plant Fitter looking for your next opportunity? I am currently representing a global plant and crane hire business, which has a newly created opportunity for a Site Engineer to join one of their sites in the Immingham area. This is a newly created role that includes a company van, a highly competitive salary, 40-hour week with overtime paid at time and half over a 40-hour week, a bonus scheme, a company pension, and an employee assistance program.
You will be responsible for servicing contracts on the company's equipment and third-party equipment. In this role, you will be providing a good level of customer service through product knowledge and customer interaction
Site Engineer Responsibilities
Service repair of heavy plant machinery (Crawler Cranes, Excavators).
Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
Basic maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement, and minor repairs.
Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in equipment.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Report any critical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Assist in making necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment components, including hydraulic systems and engines.
Requirements of the Site Engineer:
Preferably Level 3 qualified in plant or similar
Previous experience servicing cranes preferred, although Plant and agricultural considered.
Site Engineer, Service Engineer or Fitter background will all be considered for this.
