Our client, a global leader in drivetrain and transmission development, is seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager to join their dynamic Development & Test function. As part of their growing team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the smooth and efficient delivery of projects across diverse industries like automotive, aerospace, and more.
Here's what you'll do:
Lead the charge: Oversee all Development & Test projects, ensuring they run smoothly and deliver on time and within budget.
Mastermind resource allocation: Manage your team's workload, identify external resource needs, and allocate rigs and equipment for maximum utilization.
Dive deep into technical details: Apply your expertise to solve complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and guide your team towards success.
Become a project pro: Depending on the project, you'll lead or direct project teams, ensuring technical and commercial excellence.
Champion quality: Own and continuously improve our quality processes, conducting internal audits and embedding lessons learned.
Collaborate and connect: Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and business development to drive overall success.
Stay ahead of the curve: Actively participate in professional development and share your knowledge with the team.
What you bring to the table:
Solid experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects.
In-depth knowledge of drivetrain and transmission systems, or a related field.
Exceptional leadership skills to motivate, guide, and empower your team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements.
