Fantastic long-term career prospects with a local business operating for over 60+ years.Our client, a large multi-franchise approved car dealer group based in the Kidwelly region, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to join their senior leadership team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will involve both online and offline marketing but with a particular emphasis on digital marketing.
Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager Role shall include:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns tailored for the local market, in line with the overall company objectives
Create social media strategies to translate into amazing, engaging content that’s right for the audience and the platform
Be a first-class writer of web content, blogs, marketing materials, and sales collateral
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Conduct market research, analyse consumer insights, and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
Drive brand awareness and positioning through the creation and execution of compelling marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, events, and advertising
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales and aftersales teams, to align marketing initiatives with business goals and ensure there is a consistent brand message
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, media outlets, and influencers to maximise brand exposure and drive strategic partnerships
Monitor and analyse campaign performance, sales data, and marketing metrics for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify innovative marketing opportunities and stay ahead of the competition
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy policies, and industry best practices in all marketing activities.To be eligible our client does require multiple years of experience in a similar digital marketing role with particular emphasis on understanding Google Analytics and SEO and PPC search advertising campaigns. A relevant marketing qualification or degree would be highly advantageous however is non-essential. Overall you will have excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills, be IT literate, have strong communication and team working skills, and the ability to use your initiative and deliver projects to tight timescales as well as taking a creative and innovative approach. Experience working in and around the automotive field/motor trade would also be highly advantageous. A UK driving licence would also be advantageous however is non-essential.
